"It feels like coming home", as a guest described Hunting Bay Lodge in the village of Kallax just outside Luleå. At the same time, you will get away from everything when you stay here. Relax for a while at the Bottenviken coast with the wildlife and wildlife outside the door, with the tranquility, just at the archipelago and the sea, yet close to the city, the adventure and the fun. Hunting Bay Lodge is more than an accommodation, we have been told. It's an experience and a special place to leave something, a feeling you carry with you, a memory of life and a longing back.

Hunting Bay Lodge is perfect for anyone we want to get out and feel but feel at home. Couples, families with children, traveling together, or colleagues, working groups and boards who want to get away for conference and full-time meetings.

Just a few minutes from the airport and you are ahead. You turn into a farm with your own house right next to the water. You step in. Sister W has been decorated and designed with care with antique, vintage and new. Each thing has its place and its story to tell. It feels modern and genuine, spacious but cozy. In the house there is room for friends and family, or space for you only. There is a fireplace to fire in. You sit at the table at the glazed porch C. You may heat the wood-burning sauna. Some want out on adventure, experience Luleå, the unique archipelago and the close nature. Others are staying at the house, in the calm and enjoying themselves. Some want to experience the midnight snow and northern lights. Second summer's midnight light. Here, all eight Arctic seasons have their charm, both outside and inside the house.

A three night stay at Hunting Bay Lodge:

Day One
Transfer from Luleå airport to Hunting Bay lodge takes about 5 minutes.

On arrival your hosts will check you in to the cabin and later in the evening prepare for you a delicious 3 course dinner. Between arrival and dinner we recommend a sauna.

Day Two

Nature tour 2 hours by snowmobile:
Our nature tours by snowmobile start in Luleå and your guide will take you on a fantastic experience out into the forest surrounding Luleå to explore. Along the way the guide will stop regularly to discuss the environment, the wildlife and our fantastic arctic nature. We will also stop and make coffee and enjoy some local cake. The tour is 2 people per snowmobile and you will require a drivers licence. Read about our other requirements regarding snowmobiles here. What to bring: Outdoor clothing and shoes for the season. Winter overalls, boots & helmet provided for this activity.

Day Three
Dogsledding 1 hour sitting on a sled: We offer exciting dog-sledding tours from the centre Luleå. The tours go over ice covered lakes and rivers and through the forest, offering us great opportunities to vary this ancient way of travelling on snow and ice. With our highly skilled sled-guides and well trained, friendly dogs we provide a high quality, unforgettable nature-experience. On this 1 hour tour you will be 4 people per sled with our musher. What to bring: Outdoor clothing and shoes for the season. Winter overalls provided for this activity.

Day Four
A late morning transfer to the airport to meet your scheduled flight home.
